Hit Salers on a bank holiday weekend so it was very crowded...
Hit Salers on a bank holiday weekend so it was very crowded and full of bikers and hells angels. Parking v tricky so we were lucky to be staying at La Grange just on the edge of town. Salers is quite an unspoilt medieval town with shops and restaurants. Fantastic views towards Puy Violent and Puy Mary across wonderful verdant landscape and with beautiful wildflower meadows.Guest review byHilaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We liked the welcome of the hosts, a super breakfast each morning, and touristic information given by the hosts, they were very helpfull. The space bedroom in an old characteristic house was very pleasant. Lovely old building, tastefully modernised. Great kitchen use possibility and guest fridge. Good base for walking in the stunning Puy Mary , Puy Violent areas. Jean Luc is a great host, anxious to help. Lots of knowledge and books on local history, geology, sentier routes etc Great view from the bedroom, which was spacious and with a good bathroom.
