The staff were all very kind and check in was easy. The room was very comfortable and a good size. Comfortable beds, decent AC (although maybe not strong enough for 30C+), and obviously a great pool and sauna.

Clean and tranquil location, well placed for our cycling trip to La Rochelle, safe storage for our bikes and an excellent breakfast. There was only a takeaway pizza shop in the village for dinner (& it was a Sunday night) but we were able to eat the pizzas with a bottle of wine bought from the same shop in the delightful sheltered space outside the Venise Verte and use the provided cutlery and glasses from the little shared kitchen

    Didn’t realise there was an extra fee for bedding and towels…and that they would probably been available if we asked…maybe could have been offered at check in. No toilet paper or toiletries Light not working in bathroom Terrace facing toilet block rather than river Noisy party at a nearby venue Would be better on a quieter night! The guests attending the nearby party were staying in the plots all around us so when the music eventually stopped they came “home” and made more noise! (Glad they had a nice time though!)
