Everything! The host was really great. On time check-in, welcoming and accommodating. Peaceful location, very large and comfy room. Extremely clean. Good heating. Comfy big bed. Beautiful views. Simple yet fresh authentic French breakfast. Parking close by and short drive to the city of Tours

The most magical tower. Everything had been so well thought out. Furnishings were beautiful Kitchen well equipped. We needed nothing more. The grounds were perfect to walk around. Our dog loved it This is a very special place. We would return again Helene even made a vet appointment for our dogs check and tablet This was so appreciated

The elevated petite chambre was like being on a tree house, with its charming look. The beds were comfortable and the facilities in good shape. Probably because we were at the end of the season the camping was no busy at all and the toilets and showers available at all times

What a lovely hotel and what fantastic staff! This is a great place to stay if you going to Villandry or for a base if you are touring the area/region. The welcome was fabulous. The room was perfect with a lovely view across to the cattle in the fields. The hotel is also easy walking distance to the chateau at Villandry. Price wise it was excellent value. There is a lovely terrace and garden to sit out on and have a drink. We dined in the restaurant and had the excellent terroir menu - which was superb value. The owner Pascall and his staff are marvellous and super helpful. Parking is on site, free and very easy. We will definitely re-visit this hotel.

    We were on our way to The Dordogne and only stayed for one...

    We were on our way to The Dordogne and only stayed for one afternoon & evening but managed to fit in a lovely bike ride along the river and a tasty dinner in the local restaurant. We didn’t have time to take advantage of other things Savonnières and the surrounding area had to offer, for example the little river side beach, the Chateau de Villandry nearby, other local attractions and of course its proximity to Tours which would have been great to cycle into.

    The owners were absolutely lovely. The setting is beautiful and the rooms are elegantly decorated. Nice pieces of antique furniture rather than the typical mass-produced stuff you find in most hotels. The breakfast was particularly excellent. Thanks for a lovely stay and all the advice.

    Bruno is an exceptional host. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we wanted. We were captivated by charm of Savonnières and loved seeing the Cher river outside our window! Located close to our target of Villandry.

    We liked the quirkiness of the tower. The kitchen was a good size and it was lovely to have a balcony. It was easy to keep the tower warm and it was a very peaceful location while being close to Savonnieres.
