Signy-l'Abbaye is the quintessential French village, located in the lovely Ardennes region of France, an area of rolling countryside, close to the Belgian border and the town of Charleville-Mezieres, well worth a visit. The whole area is distinguished by historic monuments, including some fortified churches.
