Beautiful ❤️ The room is stunning, private, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely, with strawberries that were grown on the farm. We were given a wonderful, warm welcome. It's is out of the way, wonderful to switch off completely. Our sat nav sent us all over to get there. Ask I am sure that the host will tell you the best route. She speaks better English than I do French!

    Steenvoorde is a very nice town with a good variety of shops. Early in the week there are limited options for eating although Le Set de Table offers a good Pizza and burger menu. Staff were friendly and prices were very reasonable!

    Really nice quiet location - good private parking and facilities. Close to the centre of Steenvoorde for bars and restaurants. We had a good pizza, steak and chips and beers at The Set Table nearby. Great base to explore the north of France, especially if you are interested in WW1 and WW2 history. The quality of the accommodation is very good and clean. Very welcoming and helpful host who provided an excellent breakfast. For the quality of accommodation and service it was excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again.

    Great location on the Belgian border and super for cycling over to the Kemmelberg and other hills. A good range of restaurants in Watou and Steenvoorde. Plan ahead on a Monday night because we could only find the Terminus on the D948 open - this was fine though because the Terminus is a top quality restaurant. Ypres (or Ieper) and Lille are not too far away and are good for a day trip. Breakfast excellent quality and value.

    amazing location, peaceful and beautiful. Interior decoration and finish is done at a very high level! Nordic Bath was a nice surprise, especially with the nice weather and sunset! Delicious, local, breakfast. The hotel is also great if you like wines. Host is very very flexible and kind. He gave us multiple recommendations for restaurants nearby
