The boat was a really comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and explained everything to us. The boat also had easy access to a public shower and toilet. Although there were both of these on the boat this was very helpful. The village was lovely with a chateau and a nice bistro. We really enjoyed our stay

The host met us there and explained everything we needed to know about the property. They also gave us recommendations about the area; where to eat, what to visit, etc.. They were very friendly. The property is located just outside of Tanlay, France and was very quiet and peaceful but only a 15 minute amble into Tanlay where there is a very good bakery, a lovely little supermarket and a basic, good, friendly Bisto attached to the hotel: Bistrot La Basse Cour. Good base for cycling: you can hire cycles and boats by the canal in Tanlay. 2 hours to Dijon, 1.5 hours to Auxerre and 25 minutes to Chablis. All worth a visit. Large supermarkets 8 km away in Tonnerre; Leclerc, Lidl and Aldi but it's also in the region where they make Champagne, Chablis, Beef Bourguignon, Chaource cheese amongst other very excellent food & drink, so get out and try some local producers!

The room was very comfortable with an armchair and windows that opened wide to let in fresh air. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern. Breakfast was cheap but excellent. The baguettes were top quality. It was lovely to have good fresh fruit. The hotel is in the centre of town yet quiet at night.

Quirky little stop over on route to Paris. With the ground floor room we had, we were able to sit outside. Room had everything you needed inc a bath... Good breakfast selection

We had a great stay. Everything was just perfect. The location is quiet and well situated. perfect both for a stopover and for a longer stay. Claude is very warm, welcoming and genuinely cares about his guests. He has five rooms and two spacious apartments that are ideal for families. Everything is super clean, well looked after and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade yogurt from Claude. You can tell it’s made with love. There’s a large, secure private parking area on the property, which makes things really easy whether you’re staying a night or a week. WWe’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommendedw.

Very quaint cottage, perfect for two people, might be suited better for the older clientele. Murielle was very kind and left us with essentials and treats. Easy check in and out.

    This is a charming B&B in rural France that is modernised...

    This is a charming B&B in rural France that is modernised comfortably and with taste without losing any of the character of an old building. There is an on site restaurant with good local unpretentious food and an optimal selection of wines. The hosts were very kind and welcoming.

    What a gorgeous surprise!

    What a gorgeous surprise! stunning, immaculate petit village with a fabulous Chateau, peaceful fabulous location on a small river. Tucked away time forgot. easy drive to Chablis, on the road to many Chateaus and fun spots to visits, wine tasting
