Patricia is a wonderful host who tries to make you feel at home, no question is too much for her, thanks Patricia for your flexibility and kindness. Staying in a real chateau with very spacious rooms is quite an experience. Great breakfast and diner. Some friendly dogs like to join you when you go for a little walk😏. A lot of value for the price. We recommend this place.

Brilliant location for travelling through France en route to Spain or the UK. Spotlessly clean and welcoming with a cheerful and friendly receptionist to check you in. The room was modern, spacious and very comfortable The common areas were clean and modern and the buffet breakfast very good value for money with lots of choice. Highly recommended hotel.

Rooms were very new and spotless. Large walk in shower, comfy beds. Parking on street available, and easy access after hours. Good location for wine sampling and L' Ange Bleu cabaret. Restaurant looked good for meat lovers, although we had already made plans. Hope to go back and sample the carvery.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay here. It was comfortable, quiet and safe. After a busy city life, we were completely relaxed with the cute animals and nature here. Mathias knew that we wanted to try duck confit, so he prepared the dinner for us on the day we arrived. It was very delicious. We came here as guests and said goodbye like friends. Mathias and Emilie gave us a surprise at the end. We were very happy. If we come here again, we will choose to stay here with them.

    We had a very warm and personal welcome. The location is absolutely charming, highly recommend. While the hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner, we were kindly offered a plate with a selection of French sausages and cheese, and enjoyed some splendid wine from their own vineyard.

    The breakfast was amazing , such a variety & so fresh . The room was also amazing . While the chateau was faultless it was the owner and staff who made our stay memorable . A stay at Chateau Julie in Virsac is a must . Thank you Patricia & Laura and all the staff

    Absolutely true to all the reviews, perfect location, great place - so much better than hotels of a similar price. Hostess was amazing and very welcoming. Bottle of wine as a gift on departure was excellent.
