The wide range of fresh local sourced products from both in the restaurant as the store. The room was decorated creatively, someone really put some thought behind it. In addition, you also get acces to a communal living room with kitchen, which was a great bonus. The kitchen staff knew what they were doing and the people behind the bar were friendly and attentive.

The site is lovely with lots of space. There are currently 3 yurts with a 4th one being built. The site has a small but well equipped kitchen with a BBQ. There is gas to boil a kettle & have hot showers. The yurts are well designed with a warm homely feeling. Vidar was very friendly & explained everything on our arrival. We walked to a local pub for dinner the second night which was delicious. We would stay again.

Aldbourne is a quintessential English village with pretty cottages, a church, a green and a pond. There's shops, tea rooms and pubs. Absolutely beautiful and friendly too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Crown, which had excellent food, entertainment and comfortable beds. It has been the set for an episode of Dr Who and is where the real life Band of Brothers were billited during WW2.

A great location if your a history buff ,this was headquarters for 101 Airborne,Easy Company aka Band of Brothers. Rooms named after the company soldiers. Great food and beer and a top quality breakfast. Undergoing an update at present so few teething problems but would stay here in a heartbeat again. Comfortable room and very large. We had Major Dick Winters room. Aldbourne was also used in a Dr Who in the 70's . Food in the evening was very good and breakfast exceptional, the local sausage was one of the best I've had in a long time.

The pub totally ‘fit the bill’ of what we wanted for our last night in England. Quaint, historical building with loads of character, welcoming staff and great pub dinner. Breakfast was included & very good - just the right amount & just what we were after - traditional full English! The village of Aldbourne is beautifully maintained and picturesque. Totally worth the stay.

Comfortable bed, very accomodating and kind staff who made us a packed lunch-style breakfast since we had to leave before breakfast was served. Aldbourne is also a very cute village, worth a stop.
