The staff were really friendly from the moment we got there until the moment we left! The room was lovely, clean, tidy, well stocked and equipped. Information about parking, check in/out, restaurant was all really clear. The Bowling Green was superb, friendly and organised staff and the food was superb

Everything about this hotel was just perfect. The hotel is positioned amongst stunning Derbyshire countryside and exudes classic English elegance and charm. The gentleman who managed the evening dining in the bar and breakfast room was professional and friendly. Thank you for the exceptional stay....it certainly exceeded all expectations.

Great location. Friendly little pub. Room was perfect with great views and a super comfy bed. Dinner was really lovely as was breakfast. Proper fresh milk in our room for hot drinks. 😊

    Location ✔️ Place ✔️ Hospitality ✔️ Everything ✔️ This hidden little gem was perfect, dripping in sounds of beautiful nature all around, so tranquil & cosy. The bed was the comfiest beds iv slept in. The owner was so kind to leave us a welcome basket of goodies & a lovely homemade cake how yummy that was. Honestly couldn't fault anything here, definitely be back soon. Thank-you for a fantastic stay.

    This accommodation provides you with good access to...

    This accommodation provides you with good access to Chatsworth House & Hardwick Hall with their beautiful gardens, there were others we wanted to see but not enough time this trip. From the back of the hotel, you can access the Tissington trail for cycling along with hiking using the many footpaths within the area. In addition to this trail we also completed the Monsal trail starting in Bakewell, both trails are well maintained and have excellent views, cycle hire and cafes along their routes. Manifold and Dovedale provide beautiful waterside walks and are both very close to the apartments. We will be back in the area soon as there is so much more to explore.
