    We use this location as convenient (and cheaper) place to travel to Edinburgh, but be closer to rural Scotland. Auchterarder is nice, friendly town with enough shops, pubs and restaurants to make your journey.

    Easy walk from our accommodation. However parking was good. Would recommend others a visit. Lots of places to eat and drink. We had a home delivery from Sheray Punjab Indian restaurant and can highly recommend.

    Auchterarder is so picturesque and a lovely 30 minute walk...

    Auchterarder is so picturesque and a lovely 30 minute walk from the hotel. My third visit to this area and alot of building has happened. Locals are so friendly. The Hotel is in magical setting and offers so much for a family to enjoy.

    Nice area, lovely scenery, drove to Lochearnhead,

    Nice area, lovely scenery, drove to Lochearnhead, one night we ate in the hotel and on the other night we ate in an Italian restaurant locally, both were very enjoyable. Walked in the local park which I liked. Also had coffee and soup in a local cafe which we both enjoyed.

    We have spent a lot of time around Scotland.

    We have spent a lot of time around Scotland. The area certainly isn't the most beautiful I would say, although it is very easily accessible from the cities, Dundee, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. If you would like the most beautiful Scottish scenery head to the west coast or the Cairngorms, but then you wouldn't get a hotel of this scale and scope there.

    Nice small town with plenty of shops and places to eat and...

    Nice small town with plenty of shops and places to eat and drink for the time we stayed, 3 nights. Taxi into town was £8 and was very prompt. Locals were very friendly and seemed pleased to talk to us and notice our motorcycles, which seemed to draw them towards us in a nice way.

    Great little hotel in Auchterarder. We stayed here for 3 nights for a wedding which was a 10/15 mins drive away at Strathallan Castle so was perfect for what we needed. Our room was a decent size and had everything you needed. It was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. The Indian food in the pub downstairs was one of the best curries we’ve had so definitely recommend the food.

    Lovely apartment. Location is perfect, with views over the falconry area ..where you can watch Eagles and Sparrowhawks amongst others, whilst having breakfast or over a glass of wine on the veranda. Less than 5 minute walk to the hotel, and so perfect if you want to book one of the hotel restaurants, which we did. Fantastic weekend. Highly recommended.

    The staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and cosy. All the trappings of a traditional rustic pub along with a lovely beer garden. Our dinner and breakfast were also excellent.
