THE place to stay. We had such a fantastic time here and would certainly recommend Vallay Sands. Hosts were wonderfully attentive, breakfast was delicious and plentiful- even enough to take away for lunch. Accommodation spacious and comfortable and the view amazing! Chris was so friendly and helpful. The pod itself is properly lovely. Although the cloud didn't let us see it, the pod is a prefect location for an Atlantic sunset!

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and enthusiastically by Simon at the front desk, who honestly made this stay go from excellent to absolutely superb. He was extremely helpful with giving us ideas of where to visit on the island and how to get there, and where we could get some dinner, completely unprompted. All the staff I spoke with during our stay were wonderful and a credit to the hotel. The room was a great size, clean and comfortable, the wifi was good and the pancakes at breakfast hit the spot perfectly. A lovely little village, not near much but perfect for a quiet nights stay whilst exploring Uist.
