I found Bembridge full of surprises , I came across the last windmill on the island, the beach is so nice , the people are so friendly and very helpful, I felt welcome and safe. I have been visiting IOW for years as parents lived there.
I have been visiting IOW for years as parents lived there. I hadn’t been to stay in Benbridge but I was disappointed how far we had to travel to find things for my teenage grandson to do. I disliked travelling up and down unlighted hills to get to Ryde and Newport where most of the things my teenage grandson liked to do were there. The property is within walking distance to the Coop and pubs and eateries. The Crab and Lobster isn’t the cheapest but well worth a visit. The Harbour View Cafe is nearby and is excellent for a lunch or breakfast. The bungalow has an en-suite and full bathroom which is a bonus, for a one bedroom it still feels very spacious.
