The Hotel is neat and good. Fantastic location to stay. Very friendly staff and nice hospitality. The staff speaks very kindly and supports us throughout the stay. Will definitely recommend for a lovely stay in farm.

We stayed one night at Phoenix Farm in the shepherds hut, and it was exactly what we hoped for. The hut was beautifully decorated, and well equipped, with an added bonus of cream teas upon arrival, and fresh eggs for sale just outside. There is wood stove with kindling and logs provided, which was handy when the hut gets chilly in the evenings, so that it quickly became cosy! It was fantastic to experience the ponies just outside our enclosed area, as well as two tiny lambs curled up by our door step when we woke in the morning, with their mum nearby.. which made the stay even more special and rememberable! Only critism would be that the shower was not hot enough, but due to the limitations of such accomodation it is understandable, and wouldn't be a problem in the summer.

Set in a lovely corner of a farm with farm animals roaming outside, there was scones jam and cream left for us which was a lovely touch. Overall a lovely stay

The Granary House was an amazing place. It was located in the middle of nowhere with another few houses and a river very close to the complex. The house was so cozy, clean and comfortable that we didn't want to leave. It was so quiet and relaxing at night and in the mornings that we forgot about the whole world. Regarding photos - I cannot attach any as we were relaxing and spending our time together that we forgot about taking photos of the house, but I can assure you that whatever you see in the ad is exactly where we stayed. Forgot to add earlier - THANK YOU TO THE OWNER!!! - The handmade scones you left for us as a welcoming treat were absolutely delicious! Thank you again <3

    The availability of food at all hours of the day and breakfast between 8am and 10.30am( This is a particularly useful schedule.)Although I spend my time between London and France these days, my spiritual home is Sennen Cove where I come from, and the story of Jamaica Inn is obviously well known to me. The museum has a running brief on the Inn which is helpful to guests . On this basis the management may wish to consider a ‘Film Evening ‘ showing Jamaica Inn starring Charles Laughton and Maureen O ‘Hara. which is based on Daphne Du Maurier’s book. The film is in black and white and very atmospheric. Perhaps the dress mode could be of the period to add to the atmosphere still more. The main breakfast restaurant would be an excellent location such a manifestation. Anyway, the above is just a thought I have thought about on a couple of occasions I have stayed. Very best wishes.     Hotel lovely and clean, don’t put people in a dog friendly room if not asked for, there was also 5 dogs in the bar where we were eating and one dog constantly yapped and barked all evening which you don’t need when relaxing and eating your meal. The night we stayed was full of dogs not a good look for a lovely hotel

    managed to get a really good deal for one night away with my husband. check in easy and Shannon the receptionist was so lovely could not fault her at all. we went to our room which was lovely but was above the main fan outlet, so just popped down stairs to ask what time it went off and was told at midnight which was no problem for us what at all. while we were there the Manager Katie was there and without any hesitation she changed our room which we did not expect as that was not what we were looking for, but wow wow wow the lovely Katie gave us the Deluxe room for no extra charge, we were floored at her kind gesture. Least to say we felt really special indeed. she had a lovely manner about her and i felt like she really cared which is a rarity these days. so a huge thank you Katie you made our night. can i also just say that all the staff there are wonderful and nothing was to much bother for any of them.

    A great location to explore the moors and that part of...

    A great location to explore the moors and that part of Cornwall. We visited Tintagel, Eden Project, Padstow and Bodmin during our stay. B and minor roads across the moor were an experience to drive. Loved the walk to the Golitha Falls, we also enjoyed the steam train journey in Bodmin. The Bodmin Jail experience was excellent.

    A tiny hamlet exposed on the moor.

    A tiny hamlet exposed on the moor. Probably lovely on a hot summers day or a bright spring morning but best experienced in a November or February storm or deep snow. It's a wild place despite the road. Easy access to the moor, and the side lanes are safe to walk near the inn
