Marion is the perfect host! The welcome was very warm, the location is situated beautifully remote (that's why I had trouble finding it...). LOVED this wee spot! Perfect location for the many local walks and bike rides. Incredible facilities - we’ve been travelling through Scotland for a month staying in various types of accommodation including four star hotels and some pretty impressive Air BnBs and the showers here rivalled all of them! The tents were well equipped, warm even in April and the location was incredible. Do yourself a favour a find the wee butcher/deli in Aberfoyle to bring food back to cook at the campsite. We are already planning how and when w can come again to visit from NZ.

Fantastic and very peaceful location. The facilities were amazing like the hot tub and everything inside the pod itself. Big, comfortable bed and Bluetooth speakers to play your music in the pod! The hosts Mark and Marta pulled out all the special touches. They accommodated a late check out and after informing them my partner is dairy free, they thought of everything and added some vegan cheese and yoghurts and alternative milk which we really appreciated. The breakfast hamper and fridge was stocked with lots of snacks and drinks, couldn’t have asked for more!

what’s not to like about this lovely hotel?! first of all, we liked very much the idea that it belongs to the community of Gartmore , thus giving it a sense of familiarity and warmth. rooms spacious and very clean, hearty breakfast and a nice, cozy pub to unwind! the manager of the hotel told us about the history of the place and how it ended being sold to the people of Gartmore and we will definitely return!

Set up like a lovely guest house, it's newly renovated we had a king room and it was spacious. There is no fridge which could be an issue if there for longer than a night or 2. There was no fresh milk on arrival but the host was happy to give us some which was lovely. It was a comfortable stay but the best part of was the breakfast that was included and offered in their beautiful dining room, felt like home.

We had a truly wonderful stay! My wife and I enjoyed every moment here. The accommodation was beautiful – the room was tastefully decorated, very cozy, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the highlight for us was the charming dormer nook with a sofa and a stunning view – a perfect spot to relax with a book or a glass of wine. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. This place has a special charm, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and outstanding hospitality.

The airstream was so quaint and cosy . It was so tranquil and private . The pictures didn’t do it justice and we had the sauna , hot tub with decking area outdoor BBQ and fire pit ! It’s deceptively spacious and the bed was very comfy !

We had an evening meal at the Clachan in Drymen was lovely, The A811 Was an ideal link road to all the places we went, We are fairly elderly but the slip wire at the Go Ape centre was very exciting for youngsters and the Wool centre is great to visit in Aberfoyle

    It was like celebratig Hogmanay with family. Marion was a great host and we love the delicious breakfast. We cannot forget to mention Marion's mum, neighbour and the dogs who made our night memorable!

    An ideal base to discover this beautiful and varied area.

    An ideal base to discover this beautiful and varied area. Beware sat-nav may take you the wrong way, but Marion was most helpful in guiding us to the property. The property felt secluded and very safe in this current Covid-19 environment. Warm greeting from both Marion and her mother made us feel very welcome and valued guests
