Breakfast was EXCELLENT! The bacon, sausages and eggs were fresh and local produce. The location is a small and very picturesque village and our beautifully decorated bedroom had a view of the downs and the White Horse. We are gluten and dairy free and this did not impede our choice of food at all. Little touches like gluten-free biscuits in the bedroom were especially appreciated! The landlady was very caring, capable and charming as was the waitress.

Staff were excellent, Rooms were lovely, they went above and beyond for a 70th Birthday, decorated the room with decorations that I had delivered to them. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and a nice atmosphere. Can't Recommend highly enough, Castello Restaurant 3 minutes walk was also excellent. Would Definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the team and good luck in the future.

We loved the property and all The great staff. Enjoyed a great country walk, amazing food and a great day around the pool. The staff don’t seem Like they work in a hotel, more like we stayed at their house for the weekend. Thanks for an amazing stay.

    An ideal location to local attractions - Frome was worth a visit & has a railway station which was ideal so had a trip to Weymouth on the train a lovely day. Also a few National Trust properties close by such as Stourhead -which is Definitely worth a visit . Also Longleat.with The Fleet air arm museum a bit further away but worth the effort
