Gary and Jennifer are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Backside Lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Homemade scones, biscuits, sweets, bottle water, bottle of beer and a bottle of wine waiting in the lodge for use. A lovely touch to a perfect stay. The bed was so comfortable and the lide was extremely clean. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic stay in lovely cottage. Great base for exploring all Yorkshire has to offer. The hot tub was an added bonus enjoyed by both ourselves and the grandkids. Location was brilliant for us as we had a car. But we wanted a relaxing weekend away in a lovely cottage and that is what we got. Hot tub was great! Parking right outside the cottage. Everything we needed in the cottage. Beds were comfy. Lovely bath and shower. We will be back.
