Beautiful hotel and connected to a convenient outdoor car park. We had a spacious room for 3 with an extra sofa bed, comfortable beds and pillows and all amenities provided for. Buffet breakfast offered a good variety and was delicious. The coffee, tea and biscuits in the room were very much appreciated.

It was a pleasure to step out of the door and onto the riverbank, and then to take a tranquil walk to explore the hamlet of Burrowbridge. The main purpose of our trip was to make daily visits to an elderly relative near Ilminster. In between, we ventured to the sea at gorgeous Lyme Regis, and to the National Trust treasures of Montacute and Barrington Court. Sarah and Richard

Burrowbridge is small with just an excellent pub, which served a good range of excellent food, and good local beers. We are still in times when many of the pubs have not fully reopened, but did not have to go too far to find good places to eat.

Tina is a great host - friendly and helpful, and cooks an excellent breakfast! We chose the very quiet twin bedded room at the back of the house - warm with deep carpet, views over river from both windows, attractive decoration and well furnished. Large en-suite with good shower. Property is easy to find. Easy parking. Nice garden. We enjoyed the company of the hens and gentle dog. Good meals at King Alfred at Burrowbridge and Royal Oak (community pub) at Stoke St Gregory.
