Samir and his staff's welcome is unique among hundreds of hotels I have visited. The experience of an emerald veteran in hospitality has been applied to every detail in this boutique venue. It certainly deserves its five-star reviews! My room was immaculate with modern facilities and plenty of space. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary " true tea " provided among the other delicious sundries in the room, and serves as a distinction and notable effort in comparison to the norm. 10 out of 10, and my thanks to all the staff. Everything was very good, staff and owner were so polite, well mannered, professional and friendly. The building itself was beautiful, clean and welcoming. The food was amazing and the room really homely and relaxing.

Perfect for an overnight stay before an early morning flight as the hotel is less than a 5 min walk from the airport. We were 2 adults and 2 teens and had 2 spacious connecting rooms which were quiet and we all had a very good night's sleep. Great that breakfast was available from 4am and the staff were nice and friendly.

The hotel room was lovely. Excellent views could see a field of cows right opposite the hotel. Its a good location for cheddar gorge but it is about 3 miles away so a car is beneficial. There doesn’t seem to be any hotels right in cheddar gorge anyway so this is the closest. We did get taxis in the evening so we could have a few drinks and had no issues. Cost only £10 to cheddar gorge on a Saturday evening.
