    Lovely setting - it really is a private beach there, and the restaurants (part of the Hotel) are great .. if a little pricey! We hired paddleboards £14 for an hour which was great, and if you get there when the tide is out you can walk all around the bay.

    Nothing to dislike about our stay from start to finish Doug was the perfect host and nothing was to much trouble for him . The place is a credit to him and the attention to detail is excellent. Thanks again Doug Mick & Lindsey oh and Lottie of course .

    Carbis bay is lovely and less busy than St Ives.

    Carbis bay is lovely and less busy than St Ives. Plenty of restaurants with different choice of food. Tried several and found them great. La casita Spanish tapas -lovely. Gannet Inn the staff so friendly and Sunday lunch very nice. Firehouse St Ives, lovely staff and great food. The beach area in Carbis bay is really beautiful with choice of food available, a really nice bar with stunning views and a coffee shop. It’s very easy to get around if you have a car and there is parking available in several different locations around carbis bay. The local supermarket is very convenient on the main road. Already looking forward to a return visit!

    Carbis Bay has a lovely sandy beach.

    Carbis Bay has a lovely sandy beach. Easy walk to StIves or to Porthkidney beach. Train station is very useful to travel without having to drive. Beach cafe serves delicious food. Lovely vibe at Carbis Bay .

    Another thing that 'really matters', when visiting this '...

    Another thing that 'really matters', when visiting this 'part of the World is 'Parking' ( Which can be a real nuisance in Winter ) and total 'hell' in summer...But The Badger Hotel is just a few minutes from the station ( with frequent trains to the centre of St Ives )...But as 'pointed out' by the Hotel, the bus stop is just 'over the road', so we went directly into the centre, in a 'matter of minutes'...( And believe me, it doesn't get better, than that...

    It was the perfect location to visit St.Ives and other areas in Cornwall. Carbis bay is stunning, but with an easy £1 train journey into St Ives.. Please note that if walking to the beach it may be difficult for people with limited mobility, due to the steep gradient.

    Such a lovely apartment - very bright and light, lots of space and felt very homely, even with a teeny view of the sea! The bathroom was fab, with a shower and bath, and the bed was very comfortable. Location was great, very close to Carbis Bay train station (even though there's quite a steep hill to walk back up!) and you can be on the beach or coast path in just a few minutes :) The hosts were helpful and friendly from beginning to end, and all the little extras really made a difference. Would definitely stay here again!

    Lovely little property with everything you need and more for your stay!! We loved all the little extras - fudge, biscuits, sewing box, beach windbreaker, even a box with some toiletries that you may have forgotten! Really close to Carbis bay train station, which was perfect for visiting St Ives without having to stress about parking the car. Michelle was really accommodating - we were attending a wedding and she kindly allowed us to check out a little later which was much appreciated :)

    The bedroom and bathroom were nicely fitted. Good quality fixtures and fittings. Little fridge was a bonus. Good shower and plenty of hot water. The host was very helpful. Carbis Bay is beautiful and is in walking distance from the property. Tesco's 5 min walk St ives along a lovely path, 20 mins.

    Izzy was so helpful and friendly. Gave us a lift to Carbis Bay Hotel because it was raining heavily.. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor seating area. The property is no more than a 10 minute walk from the railway station for trains to St Ives and St Earth.
