Jackie, Kimberley, Bergot (forgive me if I misspelt the lady's name) & Darren were engaging and offered a warm welcome. I received advice and assistance with my visit. My room was quickly changed when I mentioned a disturbing noise in the infrastructure - perhaps a refrigerating A/C compressor; I was offered a room with a view, overlooking the market place. In the restaurant, Tabatha was a most wonderful host. So, a big thank you. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service, complete with proper cotton napkins, was superb. In my room the linen was ample & oozed of quality. I liked the heater frame in the bathroom too.

Contactless check in was easy, host accommodated request for lower floor room, room was excellent, bed and pillows were super comfy, everything was very clean, common room was great and parking was easy. Accommodation is really close to supermarket and pubs, and just a little further on in the main part of town there were more restaurants and and a great range of shops. Great spot to explore the surrounding region from.

    The history and buildings were really interesting.

    The history and buildings were really interesting. Plenty of shops and cafes within easy walking distance. Museums, amphitheatre and art galleries were great. Friendly people and the tourist information was a hit. Wish we had more time to visit the park. The Parish Church of St John Baptist and the Augustinian Abbey of St Mary and the grounds are well worth a visit.

    Lovely shops, a wide range of restaurants and pubs, a very interesting museum, Abbey grounds and Cirencester Park all make Cirencester a good choice for a short break. There is even an outdoor swimming pool. The Emerald Thai restaurant was very good. Well served by buses, so no need for a car. The Cotswold Water park is nearby.

    The bars and eateries provided lots of choice. The independent shops what a surprise! It had a welcoming feel we thoroughly enjoyed it and we were three friends attending a wedding without our partners - we will return with our partners as we want to share our experience with our loved ones too! Exceeded our expectations- great place to visit.

    it is a delightful town with good shopping and the Corinium Museum is a model of how a local museum should be. Thousands of items showing the history of the town from prehistoric times, through its peak of importance during the Roman occupation, to present day, all beautifully displayed and clearly explained. Definitely worth a detour!

    Lively downtown core with tonnes of interesting restaurants. The church is fabulous, as is the adjacent park. My favourite part was the arts centre which has spaces and workshops for all different craft practises.

    I am not one for reviews but Corinium Hotel & Restaurant deserve a special effort because they make a special effort. From the character of the building to its wonderful staff to wholesome food to cleanliness to convenience of the location - everything met or exceeded my expectations. An example: at check in, when realising I would be gone before breakfast service on a number of mornings, I was left a continental breakfast at my door each morning. This, and other selfless, kind acts makes this my new favourite place to stay.

    This was a very laid back and fun atmosphere. I met wonderful people and the hosts were more like meeting family than checking into a hotel. It made for a very relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen had coffee and tea with a refrigerator and oven if you wanted to cook. The host was a fount of information about the area. Must love horses and animals if you want to stay here as you are wonderfully surrounded by them. It's not a hotel, it's a home away from home and a wonderfully cozy stay.

    First class in every way, the staff are all lovely and the location is perfect for the town centre. The breakfast is awesome. All of the area within the hotel is very clean, the outside drinking and eating area within the hotel is superb. Big thank you to all the staff and the manager for the best service we have had from a hotel in a long time, keep doing what you are doing.Will go back to the Fleece again for sure.
