Caer Rhun Hall is the most astonishing hotel we have ever been. The rooms are very clean, quiet and perfect for a short or longer stay in North Wales. The house is more like a castle than a hotel, the balance between modern comfort in the sleeping rooms and traditionally furnitured guest rooms is outstanding.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful service, large very comfortable rooms with huge beds, lovely areas to hang out and fantastic central location with parking. We made a last minute booking with our dog late at night and we were made feel so welcomed. Everyone was so very helpful to us. It was such a really lovely stay and I look forward to returning for a longer stay in the Castle. Highly recommend. Conwy is a beautiful coastal town with fantastic restaurants, lovely walks, everywhere is super dog friendly. The Castle is right in the middle, perfectly located for exploring.

Fabulous town with lots to do and see, both in the town and a short drive away. Best places to eat: Telfords Bistro, the Hidden Chapel (very grown up) and the Castle Hotel for one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever eaten (and I am exceptionally picky about roast dinners, as most places get them woefully wrong). I wouldn't bother with the Erskine Arms for food - it seems to be raved about online but we all found it mediocre at best, bar the desserts, which were very good. Also Archway for fish and chips - superb. Pubs were mostly a bit meh for us, but Vinomondo's beer garden was fab (be warned: only one toilet!), as was the shop in general, where we spent a lot! We didn't get round all the shops, alas. Llandudno pier is fun and for outstanding beauty don't miss Bodnant Gardens, which is glorious. And Conwy Castle is unmissable.

Town centre location so close to coast, castle, cafes, shops, train and bus stations. Very clean throughout. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Able to adjust heating so it was warm but not too hot (unlike some hotel rooms). Shower worked well, plenty of hot water, and it didn’t leak onto the bathroom floor (again, unlike many hotel showers). Quiet location. Bins for recycling available.

The hotel provides food which is as good as i have experienced in this area. The location on the edge of the village is ideal and also near to the main North Wales expressway allowing access to all main towns in North Wales. The staff are great, its owned by the folk who do the work and they have an eye for quality and detail.
