Very nice and comfortable room. I had to get an early start, so especially appreciated the nice woman (owner?), who made me a very generous packed lunch instead of breakfast. She even left me cereal and milk.

The location is right down on the harbour . The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The decor in the reception rooms is colourful and quirky and very relaxing. We enjoyed spending a rainy afternoon reading by a log fire in the lounge. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. Both vegan and we couldn’t believe we were offered vegan croissant and a full cooked breakfast. The dining area is delightful and we felt very relaxed.

A lovely, clean room with beautiful views and an awesome breakfast. Loved the fresh fruit and variations with the toast. Jaye was a great host offering help and recommendations with local walking/ maps. Great TV options for relaxing evenings. The B&B was located in a beautiful village with great bus to both Barnstaple, and Lynton and Lynmouth. The highlight was a walk through the local church where we were greeted by Kipper the local cat, who so dutily gave us a tour. Local pub/restaurant does great food and there's a community shop nearby.

Jason and Yvonne made us feel completely at home and comfortable in their lovely hotel. Jason gave us some great recommendations for our day trip to Exmore National park. Jason even went as far as to jump start our car when the battery went flat. We looked forward to the full English breakfast and coffee every day, which was delicious. The historic house is beautifully situated in Lynmouth. We would love to come back.

Lovely B&B with bright, stylishly decorated rooms. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Easy walk to the town of Lynton and the funicular to get to Lynmouth.

    A great part of the country with some excellent hill walking...

    A great part of the country with some excellent hill walking and great country pubs. We highly recommend The Blue Ball Inn and the Stag Hunters Inn. The walk from Countisbury Hill car park down to Lynmouth should only be undertaken by experienced walkers as it is quite strenuous and treacherous at some points. The views in the area are stunning.
