We liked being able to stay in a hotel that was close to our family. It was a convenient location and we were happy with our room. The staff was very friendly. We loved being able to use the facilities...the driving range. The adventure golf was closed due to snow the day we wanted to play, but we hope to play next time we stay. We enjoyed being able to use the lounge area by the bar to hang out with a big group of family members.

Well, what's not to like? Friendly welcome (including the dogs!), clean, well-appointed accommodation, very quiet with countryside all around, big comfy bed, a simple-to-use shower, big telly, easy parking - and all at a good price. I only stayed a couple of nights but I could quite happily stayed for two weeks...

We loved our tranquil stay at the Shepherds Hut, which was cosy and comfortable, perfect for two adults and two children, with friendly hosts, plenty of country walks, and the added joy of being close to the animals—especially the fun feeding-time tour!

The property was well signposted and easy to find. Check in was straightforward and the accommodation was equipped with all amenities for a comfortable and very pleasant one night stay. Great location to visit the local area . Hosts were very helpful and were happy to share information on facilities and amenities in the surrounding area.
