A great spot in Axminster. This Bed and Breakfast is a true gem. The whole place is beautifully decorated throughout, has a comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom , excellent breakfast. Fiona is a very good hostess , a good communicator and overall provides guests with a great experience. Highly recommend this place

I recently stayed at Watermead B&B in Chard, Somerset, and it was a wonderful experience. I was there just for the night, but it felt like a mini-vacation. The house is detail-oriented, and the rooms are so comfortable and fresh. From the plentiful parking to the nice, comfortable beds, the friendly hosts leave you with no doubt at all that they want their guests to enjoy their visit, and they'll go out of their way to make sure you are happy. After a restful night's sleep, you'll be served a delicious breakfast cooked fresh to order. There's no better way to start the day.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for more! The staff were so wonderfully friendly and welcoming, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The farm-to-table ethos meant the food was absolutely delicious, and the kids had the best time with all the activities (farm tours, meeting baby lambs, feeding pigs, horse riding, swimming and mini land rover rides), and we’ve made the loveliest family memories walking through the grounds every evening. Being only a short drive (10 mins) from the coast was the cherry on top. A brilliant little find.

    There was nothing to dislike, the host was very friendly, as were the villagers.It had good internet with a a smart TV with free Netflix and Prime Video, an assortment of books, jigsaws, maps and travel guide leaflets. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. The two armchair backs could be put back making them very comfortable.

    The location for the apartment is amazing - the views are to die for - it is really, really quiet. The village is lovely with an excellent pub within walking distance. The apartment is fantastically presented with everything you could possibly need. It's easy to find and we can't wait to visit again.
