The breakfast is amazing. Usually I leave the tomatoes but they were perfectly seasoned. Lovely local produce. The evening meal was also lovely, apart from the lemoncello ice cream. For the price to get half a lemon filled with very nice ice cream, felt robbed! Our room was lovely and would definitely stay again.

One of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. We had a top floor room facing the beautiful green and heard the chimes of the church bells. The bed was so comfortable and there was a separate TV seating area next to the bathroom with tea/coffee/ biscuits/mini bar. Excellent choice of breakfast and we ate in the pub dining area in the evening. The hotel also has a residents lounge area, gym and a cinema offering complimentary popcorn .. which is great for kids. The staff were all very friendly and helpful including the man on reception who carried my luggage up to our room. We would definitely stay there again!

Lovely and cozy place- ideal for those looking for a quiet getaway! We thought the food in the hotel was great and liked the fact that we were close to some nice walks. Also enjoyed reading by the fire place in the evenings! Staff were very friendly and so really enjoyed our time there

    Lovely village with well stocked Spar just up the road ( 10 mins walk, 2 mins by car) from the cottage.Good location for visiting Sandringham, Holkham Hall and Blickling Hall. Also beaches at Brancaster, Heacham and Hunstanton. Only an hour from Norwich with great Park and Ride at Norwich Airport. Holt definitely worth a visit with great food and service at ‘The Feathers’ For us the bad weather put a damper on our visit - very thick fog for the 4 days and most tourist sites closed in January . However the area is definitely worth visiting - but maybe later in the year

    The Railway Inn served excellent steak and other meals, very friendly. The Spar shop and post office has long opening hours, friendly staff and a wide variety of everything. The fish and chip shop is excellent.
