Absolute perfection the whole place. Stayed there as a family for Tina Turner tribute. The organisation was incredible. So family friendly. The walk back through the zoo to the hotel was so well supervised, lights everywhere, staff every few meters making sure everyone is safe. Next morning went to kids play area fully energised. The hotel parking is very close to the actual hotel so packing up the car was no trouble, big trollys available if needed.. Everything was so nice, pleasant, well organised. Usually family get away especially last day is chaos but staying at this facility it is just so well worth the money. Very lucky to have this in Yorkshire.

Breakfast was excellent and we had two evening meals which were both lovely. The dog was allowed in the bar area so we could eat breakfast and dinner without any issues. The bar staff were especially friendly and helpful as it was the first time travelling with the dog (Jackie), and they made our stay even better. There is a central area by the bar where we could also let the dog go free as is enclosed which was also great (albeit she ran into the bar few times :-)).

    Hotel is perfectly located either for Doncaster Racecourse or ( in our case ) the Yorkshire Wildlife park . Town centre is walkable so plenty of choice for food ( eg Cactus Jacks' ) .Very close to A1 so easy to get to .

    We grew up around the area revisited old stomping grounds...

    We grew up around the area revisited old stomping grounds some things have changed but the super friendly yorkshire folk are still about .we loved the local Indian restaurant had a wonderful curry meal , cream tea at moore farm shop, used the bus to get into town ,went clay pigeon shooting London, alton towers whitby and york ,all easily drivable from doncaster ( caught the train into London) a great stay with all the family .

    Doncaster has a good shopping centre and is surprisingly...

    Doncaster has a good shopping centre and is surprisingly busy. It is handy to motorways that can take you further afield The Minster is well worth a visit with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. We did not spend much time in the city as were exploring South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. York is fabulous and only an hour away

    the hotel was in a pleasant area, although 1.5 mile outside the centre of town. There are one or two attractions, but the main reason people would visit Doncaster as opposed to the surrounding area is the racecourse.

    We love Doncaster for the vibrant night life & an excellent day at the races. Every one is friendly & welcoming. Plenty of choices for hotels to stay - we chose the Holiday Inn Express - would definitely stay there again.

    We were at the races its a cracking track with good...

    We were at the races its a cracking track with good facilities and attentive staff. The town however leaves a lot to be desired, nothing to recommend it. The armpit of South Yorkshire .The pubs are poor, we haven't found a decent one yet. Polar opposite to the racecourse that shares it's name.

    It was lovely hotel with perfect service. But i wasn't happy with check in time. Atleast time to check in should be 11 am. I arrived Doncaster at 4am arrived at the hotel very tired, but i was try to think have to sit in reception until 3pm. That check inn time is like all day has gone. But they manage to sort out and pay extra to accommodate that. Got inn reflesh and go in the appt at 10:30am. But i was happy the way they sort out and give a room before time. Which was real helpful.

    The staff were so helpful and went out of their way to help with any questions or queries. Service went over above expectations. A big thank you to the whole team. We had a very comfortable stay. Loved being right in the centre of Doncaster and near the market. Parking was available a short distance away and it was possible to quickly unload near the hotel.

    Room size brilliant, lovely area, loved the park (except the snow!). Everywhere was clean and lovely. Loved the desk/vanity mirror. Loved that the tv had my name on and I could stream from my phone to the tv. WiFi is brilliant too. Just outside the hotel are a number of independent shops and places to eat.
