The location of the property was excellent, as we were taking part in the Global BirdFair and wanted to be nearby. As well as this, there was a beautiful garden at the back of the house which was perfect to sit in and enjoy our meals. The host was very friendly, even offering to take us into town so that we could have drinks with our dinner. I wish we could have stayed for longer

Beautiful hotel set by the reservoir. Lovely view from lakeside rooms. Good size familyroom.Great play area outside for kids. Had a lovely evening meal and english breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Good carparking.

Lovely staff great food and fabulos bedroom We got up graded as they were launching their apres ski hut and wanted to ensure we got a quiet night -which looked brilliant fun but not for us two oldies who drank brandy in bed! Fire in the bar very cosy and Stamford is a treat especially on market day (Friday) sadly I had to work !
