Everything was just perfect, as described, clean warm cosy and welcoming. It was immediately obvious that the hosts go out of their way to give guests a perfect overnight stay. Really nice deco too.

Excellent surroundings with plenty of places to walk the dogs. Overlooking the lake with the ducks was so relaxing. The cabin was spotless and welcoming with all amenities on hand.

The property was beautiful, home from home, with everything there that you needed, the welcome pack was a lovely gesture as well left by Claire. The village was quiet, which was nice, but good in the fact that relaxing/chilled (with village pub just across the road serving lovely food) we had days out in York and Beverley. We are certainly going back......

The host is friendly and welcoming but not intrusive . The accommodation was spotlessly clean, with an enormous bathroom, large bath and shower. The property was all I had hoped for and more. The best nights sleep, for years, in a super bed. The location close enough to get into York, especially the nearby park and ride, is a frequent, cheap and quick journey into the centre.

The cottage is immaculate and very comfortable. It is situated in a quiet village but within easy access to shops and larger towns. The owners built the cottages themselves and have done an amazing job. We would love to stay again.

A quiet retreat near York. A large room with views over the farm. We used the huge shared kitchen and then sat outside to enjoy the last of the day's sun. Perfect!
