The property, apartment and owners were all fantastic. A lovely spot for a getaway if you enjoy forest walks or cycling. The apartment (we stayed in the new gate lodge) was perfectly stocked and exceptionally clean.

The place is amazing; The cabin, hot tub, the peace and quiet. Will definitely return again. We stayed in Sitka cabin (2 bed) which had a covered patio with BBQ - perfect as it rained for the majority of the time.

Hospitality of the staff, food & drink fabulous, high standard, comfort and cleanliness of the room all outstanding. Staff made a real deal of my Mum's birthday, rendition of "Happy Birthday" and a mention on her dessert plate was very special. The gardens even in winter are beautiful. Recently refurbished with great facilities for the price. Easy free parking 50 yards away. Private entry door for guesthouse if you don’t want to access the bar. There is a kitchen provided upstairs with kettle toaster microwave etc and complimentary cereals, drinks, yoghurts and fruit. I had a really good sleep after a long days drive, well recommended
