Amazing how Glasgow has turned around from its grimy industrial past into the liberal cultural place of today. City was charming and people very friendly. If you use the Hop-on-Hop-off bus, be sure to get one “live”. Without the tour guide, you could have been on a city bus. Lots of things to see and view. A lot of attra tions are free such as the Art galleries (well worth a visit) transport museum, the old sailing ship, museum of modern art and Kelvingrove park. Very busy but friendly city. The local council could do more to keep it clean though! Too much graffiti and litter; footpaths very rocky and littered with broken slaps and patchy repairs.
