Comfy rooms with homemade shortbread, sherry, and fresh milk at the door in the morning. We were on a road trip but I would have loved to stay at least a second night at The Crown Inn! There is also a pub on the property that served the best fish & chips I had in my life. The scenery of the pub garden, with the village church's bell tower in the backdrop, was also uplifting. Would definitely come back.

Everything was exceptional! From the warm welcome, friendly staff and service, to the well appointed rooms and attention to detail. All was superb! The breakfast was far better than anywhere else we stayed for a very long time! Amazing! Fresh, organic and very tasty!

Good clean and comfortable accommodation with lovely pool. Breakfast and evening meals were tasty with good choice and reasonable value for money. Excellent access to town and surrounding countryside, and within a cars journey to the Cornish coast.

Location and views are excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and never make you feel like a burden - they can’t do enough for you. They are also very friendly which is appreciated as a solo traveller. Restaurant options were excellent and very reasonable if you are staring there.

Great area to stroll around with a few shops of interest to browse through. It wasn’t at all busy. The sea view from our room was fantastic and the room was very cosy. The evening meal and breakfast menus were impressive too with a good selection of food. The staff were particularly friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The hotel is situated on a hill above the bay and offers a beautiful view of the whole area. We had a superior room with a fantastic view of the bay of Fowey and the sea. Our room was exceptionally well equipped, especially fine were the wonderful, huge bed and the spacious, bright bathroom, which also had a large window. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One more note: the Negroni at the bar was also great! The whole village is exceptionally well-kept, there are lots of nice little shops, good restaurants/pubs and everything around was lush and green.

Incredible three night family holiday for grandparents, parents and 3yo child. Fowey Hall exudes luxury with very attentive staff; spacious comfortable rooms; excellent (and delicious) dining options; bars, cosy lounges and terraces with expansive views over the harbour and town. Our intergenerational family group felt very pampered, and our granddaughter declared it "the best holiday ever". Did I mention the kids club -- with a two hour free session each day; our tiny girl came back with art work, her face painted, and animal balloons, plus she'd made lots of new friends. She also loved story time (with mild and cookies); and the nightly movie with popcorn. To top it off, there are indoor and outdoor pools, and an adventure playground. We find that when our youngest family member is happily occupied, we're happy too!! We're already planning to come back next year for a repeat visit.

    A beautiful, tranquil setting, perfect for getting away from it all. So quiet and the natural beauty around the village is a delight. The Fisherman's Arms is a brilliant pub to eat in, really tasty food at good value and a traditional pub atmosphere. Really welcoming and dog friendly- but do book in advance.

    Golant is a lovely little village, with a great pub for food and drink. My children enjoyed the play area. Whilst we were there the village had their carnival, which was lovely, great music and the locals were very helpful and welcoming.

    Very, very, quiet, Beautiful.

    Very, very, quiet, Beautiful. No shop . good pub.Apparently good for kayaking , place to hire these from but we didn’t use it. We were there in September so may have a different vibe earlier in the season
