Breakfast was served in the breakfast room and it was lovely to be served. The building was very old and quirky but was well maintained and the rooms were large and decorated tastefully, There is a beautiful courtyard out the back overlooking the countryside where we had drinks before going inside to have some dinner. You can also sit out the front and watch the world go by. Car parking is out the back by the courtyard. Lizzy was a great hostess and was able to answer all my husbands questions about the hotel. My husband and I loved this hotel.

Beautiful area, cabin was very clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed - good value for money. We also really appreciated the information booklet given as it was thorough and included nearby shops.

My friend and I had one night in the cabin (and brought a dog) and had such a lovely time. You can walk straight into Bedgebury forest from the property, and it was so comfortable to relax in after our long walk. We didn’t get a chance to sit at the back with the fire pit, but absolutely would have done if we’d been staying longer. We treated ourselves to a dinner at the Small Holding nearby, and it all made for a great weekend away. Great communication from the owner and her friend who helps manage the property. Couldn’t recommend more for a short break away. Thank you!

The farmhouse has been modernised and skilfully converted. The rooms were spotlessly clean and practically furnished. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and was all made with fresh or homemade products (granola, fruit salad, jam). Anna welcomed us in a very friendly and courteous manner. She puts her heart and soul into the business and is fully invested. We would definitely recommend it to others and look forward to coming back.     The property was clean and tidy. We had a lovely chat with the host on arrival and sorted out what we wanted to do that evening. Despite rain we got up early and went for a walk on the road heading toward Goudhurst listening to the birds and watching the rabbits and deer. E then had homemade muesli, and our wonderful cooked breakfast arrived exactly when we asked for it. The bedroom and living area were perfect for our overnight stay before travelling on to Gatwick (40 mins away) the following morning.

    Beautifully furnished and had a lovely warm welcoming environment. Great having parking just for hotel guests. Lovely bright restaurant overlooking the garden. Wine and beer from the Balfour Winery was a nice touch. Very dog friendly.
