Really stunning building in a nice part of the city. The room overlooked Leicester Cathedral and we were there the morning of the Queen’s state funeral which really added to the atmosphere

Comfortable, modern rooms with great decor (Brooklyn themed). Loved my room! Plenty of space for luggage, little mirror area to get ready and fridge/coffee station good. Looked like it had great facilities and catered to dietary requirements. I didn’t eat or drink here unfortunately as it was a cashless property and I had exchange cash to spend.

An excellent hotel, very centrally located. The staff are friendly and professional (a special nod to Shelly in the restaurant who was really nice and helpful and the guys on reception who tolerated our four year old using the reception area as a playground on new years eve -she says thanks for all the chocolates...). The breakfast was amazing with a fantastic selection. We visit Leicester a lot for family reasons, and now we would never consider staying in any other hotel. Very highly recommended!

    Lovely little village just outside Leicester.

    Lovely little village just outside Leicester. To be honest you wouldn't even know you were near Leicester as the village is beautiful. Three pubs and a church in the town. Along with small shops and cafe. A really peacefull place to stay.

    We were there for a funeral.

    We were there for a funeral. We stayed at the Pug and Greyhound and could walk to the crematorium, and both my friends' houses. The Cafe we used for breakfast - Lou Lou's was excellent. Walks in the local countryside are easily accessed. The food in the pub restaurant was good and the staff friendly.

    We asked to stay another night but hotel fully booked.

    We asked to stay another night but hotel fully booked. But kind Amy found a nearby B&B for a similar price and booked it for us. Fantastic. It was easy to get around Great Glen with the Co-op 5 minutes walk away. Great Glen is bigger than expected with useful facilities in it, eg. a Coop, a couple of coffee shops, surgery and number of pubs and dining establishments.

    The location of the accomodation in the village was great,...

    The location of the accomodation in the village was great, walkable to the other pub/restaurant. Due to unforseen circumstances the pub itself, The Pug and Greyhound was closed and we were warned about this prior to our stay., with the option to cancel if we wished. We eat at The Yews in the village which was good value for money with excellent staff. The garden area of the pub was great for outdoor dining, pity they had to close. Hostess Amy was very helpful and personable.

    Beautiful building with lots of charm and original fixtures. Away from the hustle and bustle of loads of people, as it’s in the village of Great Glen. I stayed in a room outside, in an old outbuilding. The room was very stylish, with vintage features. Spotlessly clean. A large screTV, which you hardly ever get, so I was chuffed. And it even had a small fridge, which was a smeg! I didn’t get to try out the restaurant as my mum turned up at the last minute, wanting some catch up time with me.

    The location was easy to find, and away from the "city traffiic" of Leicester. It was close enough to Leicster for a visit to Richard III museum and grave site. The room was large and comfortable. The staff in the pub cheerfully took us to the room, which is next door. We parked right outside the door. Electric outlets were conveniently located.

    A very old, charming building. Facilities very basic. No WiFi. But hey, who cares? It was only for a night. We slept very well. The carpark attached to the hotel was very handy.
