Good central place to stay to explore Glasgow and the surrounding area. very nice drive along the clyde vally to Lanark, great local interests. I found the local roads around in Hamilton a bit daunting to get around, although the M74 is on your doorstep which would be the main route to many places.Guest review byCharlieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It was all fine and enjoyable.
It was all fine and enjoyable. It was very clean and comfortable and we were made very welcome. Being on the services, it was good to have a variety of places next door for a variety of food etc., It's easily accessible and brilliant for getting into Hamilton which is well worth a visit for all the family and ages. The hotel is looking a little tired and in need of decorating, and new carpets are even required in some areas. Automatic opening front door screeches. Extremely drunk patron disturbed my night. Right next to Hamilton West train station, and travel to Glasgow is cheap, quick and far less hassle than driving in daily & paying for parking. My husband is disabled so everyone helped me to ensure he was ok, enev one of the reception staff came to collect my luggage from the bottom of the stairs to, so I could get my husband up the ramp.
