This place is the best value accommodation in Shetland. I have no idea why the previous reviews are so poor. We are locals who had to have a stay over for a medical appointment, and the cabin is exactly what it looks like in the photos. There is no bedding- a fact that is made clear on the booking.com website and in the email we received from the park directly. A previous poster criticised there being no kettle. There is a kettle, located in the kitchenette area. There is no accommodation for 5 people available on Shetland at this price, so what you see is what you get. If you are after something 4 *, go and stay in the Lerwick Hotel for £300+ a night.

    Hamnavoe is a nice location.

    Hamnavoe is a nice location. It has a lighthouse, a couple of great beaches and some good coastal walks. Local people are very friendly and there is a local shop for provisions. Scalloway, the ancient capital is just a few miles away and has a good museum and more facilities.

    Its lovely little village, about 10 miles from Lerwick.

    Its lovely little village, about 10 miles from Lerwick. It has lots of walking paths and great view of the ocean. Close to lovely beach with white sand. There is a little shop not far away from property. Very friendly neighbourhood.
