Oh where do I begin this was the most amazing place to stay. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The hotel is stunning and in a stunning location. The room wow wow wow, bed was comfy and the room was huge the bathroom was fitted with all modern fittings and features, this is our favourite place we’ve stayed in the UK. We had dinner in the restaurant OMG it was the best meal we’ve had in England. Breakfast was also so so good. The staff were all amazing and friendly. I would book to stay here if I was in this area again one million per cent.

It depends on what one's reason for wanting to stay in that area. We were attending a race meeting at Oulton Park and chose a place fairly close to the venue. The area itself is completely rural and one needs a reason to visit it.

Higher Burwardsley is in a pretty location on a hill overlooking the Cheshire Plain. There are some good local walls plus it is close to Chester. Its crowning glory is the Pheasant Inn, which is a great pub and lovely place to stay.

Excellent venue with good food but be aware thus is a dog friendly venue and many of the guests brought dogs into the restaurant. Food, staff and service was excellent and I would recommend this venue for anyone staying in this area.

Its a very beautiful location and great for walks especially if you have a dog, as the place is very dog friendly. Service in the restaurant was quick and friendly. The food on offer is not fine dining but high quality pub food, cooked very well and served with a smile.

The location is beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a relaxed holiday. Close enough to town or the city for a day’s outing. The farm shops had reasonably priced meat and vegetables. The pubs and restaurants nearby had good food. We enjoyed the walking trails and the beautiful scenery.

Superb location and stunning views. Large beer garden at the side of the hotel too which is great on sunny days and retains the views over Cheshire. Staff were super helpful. Room was cosy but bed and shower were good which was the main thing. Breakfast was also excellent along with the dinner we had the night before.
