A well thought through recent refurbishment with an attention to detail. Amazing standard of comfort. The best quality accommodation we have experienced on a month trip around UK. We also stayed in the Walpole room for 2 nights and unlike previous reviewer we had no issue with noise from downstairs or outside. Rather we enjoyed looking out to green fields and stunning sunsets. Dinner was absolutely lovely too. Recommend without hesitation.

Great room with comfortable bed, good size pool and experience showers, excellent location. The food at dinner and breakfast was exceptionally good - portion sizes just right. Felt spoiled and loved the extra touches such as apples at the front door from the orchard.

Very friendly staff. We had lunch and then stayed a night. Good food and beer. The rooms we used were delightful, very comfortable with spacious bathrooms. It was live music night the evening we were there which was an added bonus , with a great band.

Everything about the property, the grounds & the hosts were fantastic. They provide an extensive list of places to visit & eat, we ate one of our evening meals on their recommendation at the Rose & Crown in Harpley & definitely didn't disappoint. The locals were friendly, service excellent & the food delicious at a very reasonable price. The Norfolk stout is a must! We drove by car & found Hillington to be a perfect base to travel to a variety of local villages & many markets & beaches. Holkham Beach was only a short journey & the Farm was a 6 min drive from Sandringham where we were going for an evening concert. We will definitely be returning.

We were looking for a brief overnight stay in the area on our way home and the Ffolkes Hotel was ideal. We had a friendly welcome and the room was cosy, clean and comfortable. We were provided with tea and coffee and some delicious homemade cookies. We appreciated the ample parking space and the hotel was nicely positioned to be able to travel to other local attractions. The breakfast was top standard and perfect for travellers about to be on their way. I give it too marks.

the room was exactly what we expected from the adverts. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice. The hotel restaurant was offering food, but nothing we fancied, but there are lots of pubs within a short drive offering good pub meals. Free car park and easy access to the coast and Sandringham.

We liked everything about our stay! Our room overlooked the lovely garden and was very peaceful. We had a lovely super kingsized bed. The en-suite had a very efficient power shower. The owners made us very welcome and provided lots of information about places to visit. The food was delicious and we also enjoyed supper one evening.

The Ffolkes have revamped the old traditional pub with bright bold colours and quirky artwork which gives a relaxed, upbeat vibe. Our room with an outside bath and private courtyard wasn't what you'd expect from a little Norfolk village which made the stay feel very special. The 'help yourself' breakfast and cavery were also great, although one of the kitchen takeovers nights felt a little limiting as you could only have Mexican, but the idea behind it is good. I'd highly recommend staying here either with or without children. They're also planning hot tub cabins which sound really good. Thanks for reading! That's all Ffolkes!

The North Norfolk area where Hillington is located is in a beautiful rural setting with many attractions in easy travelling distance both on the coast and inland. There are many good quality restaurants. We keep going back as there is so much to see and the overall atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable with something for every taste

The room was comfortable and spacious, together with a well laid out bathroom. However, the decor was very different to what I had expected. The hotel has had a 'makeover ' and now portraits an arty twist which I personally feel is not sympathetic to the character of the building. There are a range of room photographs, which after searching show the new style and I had only seen the original ones showing the traditional theme.
