Nestled in the historic charm of Keynsham, the Old Manor House Hotel exudes an ambiance of timeless elegance. My recent stay (11 - 14 Apr 24) was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the delightful blend of courteous staff, exquisite cuisine, and cozy accommodations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the hotel's staff. Their attentiveness and genuine friendliness made me feel right at home throughout my stay. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or attending to any request promptly, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The culinary offerings at the Old Manor House Hotel are simply superb. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation, showcasing the finest ingredients and culinary expertise. From hearty breakfasts to gourmet dinners, every meal was a delightful culinary journey. As for the rooms, they exuded a charming flair reminiscent of the building's rich history. While the rooms were of reasonable size and well-equipped with modern amenities, it's true that some areas could benefit from a bit of refurbishment. Nevertheless, despite these minor points, my stay at the Old Manor House Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. Its ideal location between Bristol and Bath makes it a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. I wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and cozy retreat in the heart of Keynsham.

Spacious room, nice facilities, friendly staff. We walked to Temple Meads station in under 10 minutes, and also found it straightforward to walk from here over to Castle Park, the Harbourside Walk, and up the cycleway to visit friends in Easton. There's a good cafe and a Sainsbury's Local within two blocks from the hotel, too.

Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away from the hotel was not great, some pubs were shut or not serving food and the Hungry Horse has a policy of shutting at 10 pm every day other than weekends - loads of Charity Shops but not much else however the easy access to Bath and Bristol by train make Keynsham a good place to stay if wishing to explore the area.

Hotel had character and good staff.

Hotel had character and good staff. Restaurant was good for an evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Room was disappointing but only really slept there and in this day and age no shower, that's a first for us........ Parking is an issue as very tight to get in and manuver and not enough spaces. The hotel needs to do a deal with the supermarket next door as plenty of spaces there but restricted to 2 hours. Keynsham is a very nice small town.

It was a little overpriced with not enough attention to cleaning detail Staff were however very friendly and helpful Our room needed to be locked with a key and there was a sign outside the room telling you how to lock the door The shower was a bit too small as I am a big guy but otherwise was ok Pleasant enough for an overnight stay

Two lovely meals, one at the Lock keeper Inn other at The Brassmill. Both within walking distance. Town had various pubs and Wine bar which had live music every Friday and Saturday night. Lovely big park behind town. Walk or cycle The Monarch Way to the Bristol and Bath Railway path. A few style gates to negotiate and steps up to railway path. But worth it.

Very good location for the town and train station. The room was very clean if a little old fashioned, but I didn't mind that as the bed was very comfortable. It was also peaceful, no slamming doors or people chatting in the corridor, I guess because it was a small hotel.
