Hotel was beautiful and room excellent. The hotel although lovely did not have a lot of do for families as not pool spa etc but absolutely beautiful place , great rooms and very friendly staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the castle. What a gorgeous place! The receptionist gave us a warm welcome upon arrival from our long journey. The food is of a high quality - we all tried Cullen Skink for the first time and it was delicious! The breakfasts were well presented and there was something for everyone. We enjoyed meeting and conversing with other guests from different walks of life. The rooms are clean and warm, with comfy beds. If you have the chance to stay here, take it!

The location was great, really handy to visit the black isle area. Was a nice surprise to see the animals. The extra breakfast option was lovely and had a good variety. Beautiful homemade croissants. Hoist was really friendly and genuinely interested in our trip. Very helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
