Stayed overnight on New Years Eve. Absolutely delicious meal in the pub, very high quality. Pub was busy with a good atmosphere. Room was recently renovated and was lovely. Comfy bed, clean room and good facilities. Breakfast was good, served by a lovely friendly lady. Can't fault anything.

What an absolute Gem of a place an absolutely wonderful stay and so beautifully decorated throughout we did not want to leave! The food was amazing as were the staff with nothing too much trouble and Ned must have a special mention here what a lovely member of staff you would think it was his business he just could not do enough for us ❤️ Thankyou so much for making our holiday special x We will be back x

We stayed in "The Warren" which is an annexe at the back of the main pub. Great location, quiet, well maintained and facilities great. The little extras (hot chocolate, biscuits and sweets) made this very welcoming. Hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing, would recommend highly.

    Recommend a stay for three to four nights , easily enough to do. However finding a venue that serves food on a Monday / Tuesday evening can be a slight challenge so would recommend to go from Tuesday onwards.

    Leyburn is a proper old market town with a relaxed and...

    Leyburn is a proper old market town with a relaxed and friendly ambience. Diesel was cheap. There are lots of beautiful viewpoints in the area, from the pretty but small Harmby waterfall to the more grand Aysgarth Falls just up the road. We'd definitely visit again.

    Leyburn is a lovely village we went to several of the bars for food and drinks, everyone we met while in Leyburn, Hawes an other villages in the surrounding area was extremely friendly we had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Saddle Room you must visit this a beautiful area.

    We spent one morning of our stay in Leyburn.

    We spent one morning of our stay in Leyburn. We enjoyed browsing in the diverse collection of local shops. We had a cooked breakfast in the small restaurant overlooking the market place and a drink in The Bolton Arms. Overall a pleasant town that we would retun to.

    Staying in the centre of this lovely town (Market Place) is a good idea as several worthwhile things are close by, including the Wensleydale Railway (preserved diesel locomotives), a distillery and the town's attractive shops as well as a couple of restaurants. Walk a few yards away from town in any direction and the views across Wensleydale are superb. A really good place to visit for a night or two. Paradise for serious walkers, but also for those who want shorter strolls in a fabulous landscape.

    Leyburn is a nice little town.

    Leyburn is a nice little town. The Sandpiper is the jewel in the crown as far as eateries are concerned. There is also a delightful, independent supermarket which appears to be built in a Tardis! Lots of lovely, local produce combined with the usual provisions. A walk along the Leyburn Shawl is recommended for great views of the countryside (weather permitting!).

    Food was nice, i don't eat meat and I really fancied a cheese platter, so instead of pork pie and ham, chef offered me a lovely quiche. Red wine BAD EYE STAG shiraz/sovignon was the best one I've ever tasted. Room was cute and cosy , I had room 2. Overlooking lovely village. Bed suuuuuuper comfy. Hotel is very generous with complimentary tea, coffee etc which is replenished the next day as I stayed for 2 nights. Great location. Super shower. Will defo be back.

    Excellent location for exploring and walking in the Yorkshire Dales. Lovely views from the property. Quiet and comfortable accommodation and very friendly and welcoming host. Would definitely stay again and recommend. The Wagon Wheels were a lovely surprise !

    Beautiful well kept with a high specification. The property was well equipped in a beautiful location. There was a welcome pack with a few essentials in it which was a lovely touch. Short walk across the fields into Leyburn which is a lovely market town.
