What an amazing part of the country, crystal clear water and breathtaking views. A wonderful cafe selling Cornish cream teas looking over The Lizard. A steep slope going down to the beach was hard to climb up for someone like myself who has breathing problems, but was definitely worth the effort. The food at the hotel was exceptional, we had breakfast and evening meal which were delicious. The South West Coastal path runs along the bottom of the garden of the hotel so was easy to access so very good for walking. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly at the hotel. You could spend the day just by the garden admiring the view. If you want adventure there are different and interesting walks. The breakfast was very good with local produce and the waitress was fantastic. She is charming, efficient, kind and paid attention to every guest. The hotel is very lucky to have someone like her.
