Really appreciated the extra touches e.g. welsh cakes, fresh milk in fridge and apples and bananas in fruit bowl. Well stocked kitchen with the little essentials that you don't always remember to take like sugar/tea bags/foil/oil etc etc

Great accommodation with 4 large bedrooms, very comfy beds, and a large, uncluttered downstairs living room and kitchen. We loved being able to put the fire on when we got home from our walk, and the house was perfect for dogs as not too much clutter around for them to knock with their waggy tails! The house is in a great location for Snowdon. We also loved that we were able to plug in our electric car to charge overnight. We'd definitely stay again.

    Perfect location meaning we didn't have to use the car once as everything was in walking distance. The accommodation felt very cosy and was clean. Haydn was a great host with great communication. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again.

    Llanberis is small but there are options for food and...

    Llanberis is small but there are options for food and general shopping. The Allports chip shop was great. If you want an Indian meal then the Spice of Llanberis is the place to go, although book beforehand if you want a sit-down meal. We arrived on a busy Saturday evening and so opted for a takeaway set meal for two which was delicious. If you want a coffee try Rumdoodles cafe and outdoor shop. For snacks there is a small Spar. For a drink there is the low-key, relaxed pub called The Heights. In terms of activities the big one is the climb up Yr Wyddfa either by foot or train. A less strenuous option is the charming Lakeside railway.

    The town is nice enough.

    The town is nice enough. A bit run down and many shops not opened Sunday through Tuesday, when we went in April.. the Snodonia train was ok, I liked it but way too expensive in my opinion.. the lake and waterfall hike were fun.

    Llanberis itself was ok, central for everything but the town...

    Llanberis itself was ok, central for everything but the town itself was a little disappointing. Whilst there were places to eat, it was largely 'pub grub' and no fresh vegetables!! The location was fantastic with plenty of walks in Llanberis itself, and only a short drive away to places such as Caernarfon castle and Portmeirion.

    The Royal Victoria Hotel is at the base of Snowdon so is a perfect base for this hike. Llanberis has a number of shops and restaurants to suit most tastes. There is plenty of parking around for all who want to explore the area.

    Llanberis is a small town with grocery stores, restaurants, and sporting goods stores within walking distance. We experienced it during off-season, it was quiet and peaceful. There were very few visitors around. We appreciated the bus service allowing us to exlore the area. We especially enjoyed our trip to Betws-y-Coed village which was busier and livelier and if you prefer this kind of vibe, it might be a better choice for you during the quieter months.

    The lake view hotel was amazing, Amy and her husband made us feel so welcome, even checking in when myself and cousin went up snowdon as we took way too long. The breakfast was amazing, and Amy's baileys hot chocolate was epic. I will be coming back for one of them for sure. The room was very spacious and clean, and the beds were so comfy. Amy is full of information and is very happy to help with anything. Great job, guys. I can't wait to stay with you again.

    This hotel was our favorite on our short trip in North Wales! The room was huge and we had a beautiful picture of a waterfall in our shower. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Multiple breakfast options (cooked or buffet), and restaurant for the evenings. Location is also super, we walked from here to do the Llanberis path hike. Thanks team Padarn

    the hotel was of a very good quality and the rooms were spacious ,comfortable and very clean. the breakfast was excellent and the restaurant in the evening was amazing, the staff , food and ambience was excellent and would definitely recommend this hotel. the position of the hotel was right across the road from the Snowdonia mountain railway station.

    Our trip to Llanberis was made so much better with our stay at Alpine lodge. The staff were so friendly and catered to all our needs. It was so clean and the shower was amazing after walking up Snowdon! There was a lot of options at breakfast too which was lovely.
