Great location for Cardiff Wales Airport. Host offered to pick-up at airport upon arrival and dropped off next day. Fantastic breakfast cooked to order. Would book again with very early/late flight.

Good location. Breakfast is taken across the road. Always good, filling breakfast, with excellent service. The Bear never lets you down. Rooms are lovely, clean, have all you need. I had a room overlooking the high street. Very quite at night. A nice big comfortable bed, and always clean, bath room has shampoo etc. Staff helpful, Handy having the car park at the back of the hotel. Handy for farmers markets and other shopping, you can put it in the car and in your room, and go out for the day.

The receptionist in the evening was lovely and so helpful. She recommended a lovely restaurant down the road. The breakfast in the hotel was lovely and the rest of the staff were so helpful.

Loved this property , it had all the comforts of home. It was great to finally have access to a washer/dryer. The correspondence with the owner was great and made us feel welcomed. Great parking space and very close to Barry Island.

    We were there to visit family in St Athan so spent most of our time there. Our stay at 2 Stable Cottages was lovely and we would definitely go back. Priscilla was lovely and the home made cake and milk were very much appreciated. The little house was lovely and so peaceful. Loved our stay there

    The cottage is not in Llancarfen - it's in Llanbethery, a...

    The cottage is not in Llancarfen - it's in Llanbethery, a separate village deeper into the countryside. Local signage is poor and sat nav not much help at times. We were out each day, so had brought food for breakfast, no shop in Llanbethery. We ate in Cowbridge and Llancarfen (Fox & Hounds open Wed - Sun) The Heritage Coast/Ogmore not far away and worth a visit. We also went to Cardiff and enjoyed a full day there.
