This hotel is brand new and feels luxurious. The staff go above and beyond to meet the needs of guests. We stayed over Halloween, which is huge in Derry. It was great to stay on the side of the river opposite where the parade was. We were able to watch the fireworks from a hotel balcony.

I loved how clean it was.

I loved how clean it was. Everywhere we visited was welcoming not only to us but our grandchildren as well. From taxi drivers to restaurants bars. Places of interest with all the history people were happy to explain more. We can’t wait to return to Derry and I can’t fault it

    It is a beautiful city.

It is a beautiful city. There's so much history to this place. The city is changing and growing. This is my 11th annual visit and I've seen so many positive developments. It's easy to get around on foot and there are lots of great places to take in everything the city has to offer. Great food, lovely people.

We had been tipped off to use parking centres rather than on street parking- (expensive & very efficient traffic wardens!). We walked the walls & across the peace bridge and as we had exceptional weather that day we headed off & did the Inishowen peninsula drive - Derry is an ideal spot to drive to & from Malin head - especially if driving with children ! Mamore gap in Donegal is only a 30-40min drive away & well worth the visit - even if you don't go all the way out to Malin head

It's a great place. There is a complete set of walls to walk around. There are two beautiful cathedrals and the food scene is fabulous, It is convenient to Donegal's beautiful beaches and scenery, so its perfect in its own right and a perfect base to explore from.

Found Derry to be very run down , rather dirty with lots of shabby properties and shops . Found the town to be rather depressing . The Bloody Sunday museum is worth a visit , enlightening as to many elements of the Troubles.

Perfect city centre location - everything is walkable from it, plenty nearby (shops / food / etc) Rooms are fresh and clean - well decorated, nice bathrooms Good (and bad) seeing no staff - it’s all keypad entry at check in time, then a keypad on your door… convenient but strange not seeing any hotel staff, it’s more like apartments than a hotel

Gentleman 'Jim', the friendliest man in Londonderry! Great b&b 200 yards or so from city walls. Jim gave me some great advice on where to go and what to see. Room was very comfortable, motorcycle parked safely in front garden, the Ulster Fry was tremendous. Than you Jim!
