What a beautiful stay! We loved everything from the warm welcome to the end. We thank you all the staffs, our stay was perfect! The breakfast is AMAZING as well as the beautiful room! Spacious rooms beautiful decor, exceptionally clean and very quiet. Grounds immaculate and very peaceful area. Breakfast area was a short walk from main accommodation. Food was delicious and plenty of choices of continental and hot breakfast. Staff were polite and very helpful.

Very nice stay in a nice environment. Clean room and good bathroom. Nice balcony with comfortable chairs, and with a nice view. The golf course just outside the door, which gave us just the right atmosphere.

Loved everything about it! Christian at the reception was super nice and helpful. Generally very pleasant staff. Great amenities and great food. Peaceful garden and great breakfast and dinner shala. They had a library with games and a fireplace to have your drink in the evening. Would definitely go back

    This was the quintessential country pup.

    This was the quintessential country pup. It was everything I was hoping for right down to the resident border collie Labrador Emma. Dog friendly pup. The staff were great, the food fantastic, apparently the chef has been there 19 years and folks come from all over to eat. I wish I could have stayed longer. Every little detail was thought off.

    Brilliant hotel, very well ran with a nice restaurant. Only reason it wasn’t perfect for me was room ‘Violet’ looks onto the entrance with a street light that didn’t go off until after midnight, because of the non blackout blind it shon through. The shower drain was clogged so filled with water. Both however quite minor issues for an otherwise very good b&b. Thank you Red Lion!

    We had a great stay, you can fell that they are managing their hotel with their heart. In the morning you can enjoy your warm breakfast to fill your empty stomach before your journey. Their bread was freshly made with homemade marmalade. Their restaurant food was excellent as we had lunch and dinner there. Thank you.

    Fabulous Bar/Restaurant/Hotel which is serviced by excellent staff house in a Grade II listed building. Very nice and room was perfect and very comfy.Food and atmosphere in the restaurant was fab - will be back!
