The cottage is very cosy , in quiet surroundings, clean , grounds wear children can play safely, all you need for a self catering holiday . It’s up a narrow lane off the main road but you don’t often meet anything on your way up & down

The hotel is stunningly stylish in every aspect and has been recently renovated. The bathroom and room were exceptionally clean. The in-room amenities like the TV, complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies offer a delightful sense of relaxation after a long day. The hotel bar is also very enjoyable, and I won’t even begin to describe the amazing cakes and coffee you can enjoy on the terrace—they’re simply wonderful. The warm welcome from the hotel manager upon arrival, and the same heartfelt farewell, made the stay truly unforgettable. Oh, and I almost forgot—there’s a car park right next to the hotel. Just leave your car there and immerse yourself in the breathtaking countryside nature.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for more! The staff were so wonderfully friendly and welcoming, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The farm-to-table ethos meant the food was absolutely delicious, and the kids had the best time with all the activities (farm tours, meeting baby lambs, feeding pigs, horse riding, swimming and mini land rover rides), and we’ve made the loveliest family memories walking through the grounds every evening. Being only a short drive (10 mins) from the coast was the cherry on top. A brilliant little find.

    Rose Cottage is suitable for families and dog owners taking their dogs on holiday. It was well-heated during our stay at the end of October. We enjoyed breakfast nearby at Millers Farm Shop, Axminster and bought fresh produce and groceries there. The seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth are only a short drive away.
