Carpenters Arms was a perfect on route overnight stop. I've already made a mental note of returning soon to have a good look around Boston. The room itself was more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable - if it wasn't for my alarm waking me up I would probably still be there. Carpenters Arms is also a Public House a little off the beeton track - once found never forgotten. It was nice to meet the friendly locals. I shall be back

I love the personal touch at this property, brand new, value for money , clean facilities and super welcoming staff. The trip was awesome. I wanted to have that Father Son moment to cherish entire life. Together we learned how to fix fishing rod , how to fish and the place gave us everything that we were looking for. Small kitchen area with all required amenities / clean bathroom/ Comfy bedding/ Brilliant parking next to cabin and away from hustle and bustle of the city made our small trip memorable. Great going mate really appreciate the way you guys considered the minute details , good to know you and your family. We will certainly come back.

    Old Leake is only a small country village, but is ideally situated for days out in Boston ( 5 miles) and Skegness (17 miles). 1.5 miles from the cabins is the local Coop, chip shop, and postoffice. 50 yards from the lane is pub serving food, and a couple of miles in the opposite direction is another.

    Old Leake is a lovely and quiet part of Lincolnshire, but close enough to good pubs/restaurants should you not want to cook if you are self-catering. There were also some small supermarkets pretty local.

    It was perfect for us.

    It was perfect for us. My husband loves to fish and I love to read. The lodge was beautiful, with everything we needed to be comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. We loved the log burner and my husband could come in from the lake for a warm. It was casting from the verandah, so I could be part of the fishing excitment, when he caught as well. We are planning to return very soon.
