Amazing historic Castle converted to a hotel a number of years ago. Right in the centre of the town, easy parking in the grounds. Beautiful grounds with peacocks. Very friendly welcoming staff. The venue was perfect for the family wedding. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are very clean and all facilities provided. The town of Ruthin is a lovely little town and easy to find everything you need. A nice Weatherspoons and a few restaurants in town and a lovely family run coffee shop. Loved Ruthin Castle , great if you have a dog . Tons of character in the building , staff were excellent as was the food . It’s an old building and could do with updating - but don’t let that put you off as it really is beautiful , yes could do with an update but I really lived it as it was and will definitely be going back . We enjoyed the views and autumn colours as we explored them before breakfast. The hotel building itself is an interesting quirky hotch pitch with a grand staircase, several paneled 'state rooms' and many long corridors.
