I only stayed 1 night from midnight to 6 am as part of a longer journey but the staff very kindly booked me in even at that late hour. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable and there was a wooded area next to the hotel which is ideal if you are travelling with a dog.

A lovely friendly greeting followed by an excellent meal. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the room size was generous. The attention to detail was super, extra towels, fresh milk and quality coffee. All at a very reasonable price

Warm & comfortable (on a hideous November night). Despite the rain & gale-force winds outside, both our room and bathroom were warm to the settings we chose on the thermostats. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent (best steaks ever) & all the staff were welcoming and helpful - nothing’s ever too much trouble. Great breakfast too & safe, free, off-road parking. Our second stay & the perfect stop-over.

    Hotel was perfect location for what we wanted.

    Hotel was perfect location for what we wanted. Would definitely come back again and spend lo ger, we were booked elsewhere for the remainder of our break otherwise we would have stayed put. My only complaint would have been the uncomfortable bed, had springs digging in my back which was not good as I'm recovering from two fractures.

    The staff are welcoming and efficient, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was also spacious and with good choice plenty of parking and good space at rear in garden to relax in on an evening

    St Leonards was a great place to stay.

    St Leonards was a great place to stay. Staff friendly & helpful. Everything spotlessly clean. Bedroom was roomy, everything we needed for an overnight stay. We ate in restaurant, food was good, breakfast even better. Lots of choice. Plenty of quality fresh fruit. Huge car park and field behind pub. Would definitely return

    Didn't like any of it Poor food, service appalling Pillows uncomfortable. Room decor was good and we could step out onto the grounds which was bonus. Bathroom good They need far more staff who need training in hospitality

    There seemed to be very few staff in the hotel, we had to ask a member of the bar team to get someone to check us in, the restaurant team seemed very stretched although it wasn't busy in fact that carried on over the entire stay. What staff that were there seemed fairly helpful although the senior members of team on breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday were both surly and stressed.

    Room was comfortable and quiet, we slept very well. There was also lots of space for us to exercise our dog and it was a real bonus that the whole hotel and restaurant was dog friendly. Breakfast was very nice.

    Perfect little spot for a couple of nights. It was very dog friendly, which was perfect and had a big green at the back of the hotel. I can't really fault the hotel. The bed was super comfy.
