I think this was the cleanest and best smelling bathroom I had in my whole life. My stay was wonderful in seaside. Alan is a great host. I really enjoyed the quiteness at this place and the possibility going to the beach which is just 5 min away. by foot. I was able to enjoy a wonderful sunset every day on the beach. The place was also very good if you want to go on a hike to the Seven Sisters area as ich it is very close. Thank you for the wonderful stay Alan

The apartment is perfect in every way. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's also a washing machine. The living room is cozy and has a large TV. The bedroom is large and has a large wardrobe and plenty of drawers. The beds are large and comfortable. The bathroom is comfortable. There's also a small balcony. Everything is well-kept and clean. Overall, highly recommended for a longer stay, even in bad weather. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes from the beach and nearby excursions to places like the Seven Sisters and much more. A small supermarket is within walking distance. We will definitely come back and stay for more than a week. Thank you so much for everything. We enjoyed every day. Best wishes from Roland and Karin from Dortmund.

Imo is an amazing host. The room was nice and well equipped, and her breakfast was simply amazing! It was easy to reach Seven Sisters from her place, and there is a huge beach just around the corner. Thank you Imo and hugs to your cute dogs!

The Alfriston Hotel is by far the best we’ve experienced. The style is elegant, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the room was spotless and beautifully designed. We loved the peaceful spa and the delicious breakfast every morning. Everything was just perfect – we felt truly cared for. The village of Alfriston itself is charming and full of character – the perfect setting for a relaxing escape. We will definitely be coming back!

Medeival inn with original features within the rooms - very characterful! Staff were very friendly. Lovely beer garden. Good breakfast. We didn't stay for dinner but the menu looked rather nice - definitely more ambitious than usual pub fare. Excellent value rooms. We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend.

Midway between Brighton and Seaford offers a quieter place to stay with some 3 miles plus of seafront, good facilities in the town and a great place to be based from. The iconic coastguard cottages at Cuckmere Haven can be walked from Seaford Head or drive to Hill Barn and the walk is not so strenuous. Great views towards the cliffs of Seven Sisters. From Seaford local attractions such as Alfriston, Lewes, Beachy Head are all within easy reach. Plus of course Dieppe via Newhaven ferry that is just a few minutes drive away.

We would recommend the Salts Recreation ground and cafe.

We would recommend the Salts Recreation ground and cafe. Also the shops are excellent, and the town is not crowded. Our favourite place to eat was the Old Plough hotel, excellent roasts and menu with helpful staff. Children enjoyed outings to the local library, the train ride to Lewes castle, Drusilla's Zoo Park at Alfriston, and trips to Eastbourne Aquapark and Brighton Pier. The beach is not sandy and it is advisable to swim near the life guards.

A town by the sea as opposed to a seaside town and that’s what we liked, totally unspoilt. Quirky shops, good selection of cafes and about 4-6 restaurants open in the evening. Great sea views and walks: South Downs National Park, Alfriston, Cuckmere Haven and Beachy Head. Two golf courses. Town has a railway station (easy to get to Newhaven for the ferry, Lewes, Brighton, Eastbourne,Gatwick and London). Historical Martello tower has a small museum.

Interesting location, good selection of coffee shops and eateries, easy access to seafront and beach (I’m used to sand so pebbles alarming but had been forewarned so brought appropriate footwear). Great walks and close to South Downs if wanted to explore further. Enjoyed early morning walks along seafront. Think only downside was the steepness of the pebbled beach, scrambling back up very difficult especially if mobility problems

Seaford is very easy to navigate.

Seaford is very easy to navigate. There are plenty of shops< cafes, pubs and restaurants , but doesnt seem overcrowded. However our trip was out of season. The most impressive for us was the sea front. Easy to walk along and the stony beach, with a tide that didnt go out too far
